Panasonic Printer Test Page
Panasonic shipped laser and multifunction hardware across several unrelated generations, and the panel wording moved with each one. The driver route has never moved, which is why it leads the table below.
Set scaling to 100%. Choose Actual Size in the print dialog, never Fit to page — scaling distorts every measurement on this sheet. The Download PDF button hands you that same sheet as a ready-made file, so there is no scaling decision to get wrong.
How to print the Panasonic Printer Test Page
- Load plain white paper from a fresh pack if the current stock has been sitting open.
- Set quality to Best or High and scaling to Actual Size or 100%.
- Print this sheet from the page above.
- Print the driver test page from the table above so you hold both a software and a device reference.
- Take status — page counts and consumable warnings — from the Panasonic utility rather than the panel.
- Change one variable at a time and reprint the same file so the difference you see is the change you made.

Reading the result
| Driver test page and this sheet both print correctly | Connection, queue and engine are all healthy. Anything still wrong is in the document or its print settings. |
| Solids print pale or uneven | Toner is low or the drum is wearing. If the driver test page shows the same weakness, the fault is hardware rather than the document. |
| Fine lines drop out at small sizes | Density is too low to hold a narrow stroke, or the media type in the driver does not match the stock. Correct the media first, then raise density one step. |
| Text edges look furry or blurred | Worn fuser or paper that has absorbed moisture. Both are independent of the file you printed, so try a fresh pack of paper before touching the machine. |
| A repeating mark runs down the page | Measure it against the drum and fuser circumferences. The pitch identifies which unit is at fault without opening the machine. |
Also check
- Black and white page — Density and text sharpness on their own, which covers most of what a mono Panasonic laser can get wrong.
- Grayscale test page — A toner ramp shows where a low cartridge begins to fail, something a simple driver test page will never expose.
- Alignment page — Registration and skew stay valid across cartridge changes, so this sheet keeps its value long after a consumable has been replaced.
Related test pages
- B&W printer test page — Removing colour from the equation isolates density, toner coverage and fine detail problems.
- Greyscale printer test page — A grey ramp with no colour in it makes tonal problems, colour casts and scaling errors impossible to miss.
- Laser printer test page — Laser faults live in density, fusing and geometry, and none of them involve nozzles. This sheet measures how evenly toner is laid down and whether it stays on the paper.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print a test page on a Panasonic printer?
Use the Windows driver: Devices and Printers, right-click the queue, choose Printer properties — not the plain Properties entry — then Print Test Page on the General tab. On a model with a display, look under Menu for Reports, List or Information, since the exact wording changed between generations.
Why is there no single button combination for Panasonic?
Because the range covers several unrelated manufacturers’ hardware sold under one badge, and each generation kept its own panel layout. Rather than publish a combination that works on one model and does nothing on another, the driver route is listed first because it works on all of them.
What does the Windows Print Test Page actually prove?
That the driver can reach the printer and that the spooler is delivering data. It is a connectivity check, not a quality check — the text it prints is too simple to reveal banding, fading or a worn drum.
Where do I find supply levels on a Panasonic printer?
Through the printer utility or the device web page rather than the printed panel menu on most models. Page counts and consumable warnings appear there, while image quality still has to be judged from a sheet such as this one.
Can I print a Panasonic test page from a Mac?
Yes. Open the print dialog, go to Options & Supplies, then Utility, and open the printer utility for the quality checks. The macOS driver also exposes a test page in the same place on most generations.
