OKI Printer Test Page
OKI printers carry a shortcut that most owners never find: press Fn, type one hundred, press OK, and the configuration page feeds out. It needs no computer and no menu navigation at all.
Set scaling to 100%. Choose Actual Size in the print dialog, never Fit to page — scaling distorts every measurement on this sheet. The Download PDF button hands you that same sheet as a ready-made file, so there is no scaling decision to get wrong.
How to print the OKI Printer Test Page
- Load plain white paper and set quality to Best or High.
- Set scaling to Actual Size or 100%, then print this sheet.
- Press Fn, enter 1, 0, 0, press OK and confirm Execute to print the configuration page.
- Keep both sheets side by side: status from the OKI page, image quality from this one.
- Judge density, fine lines and colour balance on this sheet.
- Change one variable, reprint the same file, and compare against the first sheet.
Built-in test page by model series
| Fn shortcut on B and C series | Fn → 1, 0, 0 → OK or ENTER → Execute → Configuration prints |
| Menu route | Menu → Print Information → Menu List or Configuration |
| Usage report | Same menu, then the Printer Usage Report item |
| OKI printer utility on a computer | Open the utility and print the configuration or test page |
| Any OKI through the Windows driver | Printer properties → General → Print Test Page |
Reading the result
| Configuration page and this sheet both print cleanly | Engine, queue and consumables are working. Anything left is in the document or its driver settings. |
| Solids print pale or banded | Toner is low or the drum is worn. Read the life figure from the configuration page, then swap the cartridge and reprint the identical sheet before condemning the drum. |
| Fine lines vanish at small sizes | Density is too low to hold a narrow stroke. Raise it one step and reprint until the lines hold, then stop rather than wasting toner. |
| Colour bars do not match each other | One channel is behind the others. On a colour OKI, check which drum or cartridge is lowest, then reprint the same sheet to confirm the fix. |
| The Fn 100 shortcut shows an invalid number | That function number is not assigned on your model. Fall back to Menu, then Print Information, where the same report lives under a named item instead of a code. |
Also check
- Black and white page — Density and text sharpness without colour conversion getting between you and the print engine.
- Colour test page — On a colour OKI this exercises every channel together, which is where a single weak drum becomes obvious.
- Gradient and banding page — A toner ramp shows where a low cartridge starts to fail, something the configuration page percentage never predicts.
Related test pages
- B&W printer test page — Removing colour from the equation isolates density, toner coverage and fine detail problems.
- Colour printer test page — One sheet that exercises every colour channel at once: bars, a smooth gradient, a mixing grid and a type scale.
- Laser printer test page — Laser faults live in density, fusing and geometry, and none of them involve nozzles. This sheet measures how evenly toner is laid down and whether it stays on the paper.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print a configuration page on an OKI printer?
Press the Fn key on the operator panel, enter 1, 0 and 0 on the numeric keypad, press OK or ENTER, then confirm Execute. The menu map prints. On models where that function number is not assigned, use Menu, then Print Information, then Configuration.
What is the difference between the menu map and a test page?
The menu map lists current settings, installed options and configuration data generated inside the printer. This sheet is drawn to expose density, banding and missing detail, none of which a settings listing will ever show.
Why does my OKI say Invalid Number when I press Fn 100?
That function code is not present on your particular model. The assignment varies across OKI generations, so use the named menu item under Print Information instead of relying on the shortcut.
Where is Print Test Page for an OKI in Windows 11?
Devices and Printers, right-click the OKI queue, choose Printer properties — not the plain Properties entry, which does not carry the button — then Print Test Page on the General tab.
Do I need to print a test page after replacing an OKI drum?
Once. A new drum changes how toner transfers, and a single sheet printed immediately afterwards gives you the baseline every later comparison is measured against. Reprint the same file rather than opening a fresh document.
